Did you know? The scp protocol (hence scp command too on your Linux/macOS/Unix/*BSD) consider as outdated by the OpenSSH project. They advise using rsync or sftp over scp. https://lists.mindrot.org/pipermail/openssh-unix-dev/2019-March/037672.html However, scp so handy. Well moving to rsync is not that hard
